Last saturday, July 24th, on La Albericia Stadium, the nigerian long jumper won her competition and global score with a result of 6,28 meters. After medal ceremony she travelled to her spanish base in Valencia to rest a day before taking on monday a flight Madrid-Paris-Nairobi to compete next July 29th in African Championships.
Comfort has a season best perfomance of 6,62 done last May 22nd on Salamanca, before went to her country and won National title on Calabar with a 6,56 performance among a hard rain.
On Naironi Nyayo Stadium the main favourite is another nigerian athlete, Olympic bronze medallist Blessing Okagbare (SB 6,89) Comfort's targets are silver and, why not? broke again her personal best.
